IN PHOTOS: 2016 Global Street Paper Summit begins in Athens

INSP’s 2016 Global Street Paper Summit got off to a flying start yesterday in Athens. 120 delegates from 59 street papers in 30 different countries have flocked in Athens for our biggest summit yet!

Here is how the day went in pictures.

Two smiley faces greeted delegates as they arrived in Athens. Zoe Greenfield and Natasha Davidson eagerly welcomed delegates arriving on the first day of our 2016 INSP Summit.

Delegates gathered at a metro station near the Shedia office before the start an Invisible City Tour. The tour is led by Shedia vendors, and guides people around the city through the vendors eyes.

Many delegates including Matt Shaw from Speak Up Zine in Charlotte, USA, got to know local Shedia vendors on the first day of the summit – and snapped some fun selfies.

Later on, delegates arrived at a special Welcome Reception hosted in the Athens City Hall to toast the beginning of this year’s summit.
