Jan Slawomir, 55, Dortmund, Germany
Jan came from Wielun in Poland to Germany in 1986 to work here. He had many different jobs, mostly for temporary employment agencies. A few years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and had some drinking problems. Now he stopped drinking and defeated his cancer. He is still living in a special rehabilitation centre. He sells bodo in Westenhellweg, Dortmund, Germany.
What is the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?
The best Christmas present ever my father gave to me. It was a car. A Nissan Sunny I got in Poland in the year 1983.
How do you plan to spend Christmas this year?
I will spend Christmas in the rehab centre. We will eat together and sing some songs.
Do you have a special Christmas message for your customers?
I wish them good luck for the future.
